In this article I talk about a simple and cheap way to get up and running with an SMS campaign using only your personal computer and a mobile phone. Not much is known about this category of software - this article may be the first to attempt to classify it.
After a lot of brainstorming, Katrin (ED of Mobile Active and a board member of Mobile Voter) and I decided to call the category "Desktop SMS Campaign Tools." Let me know what you think!
