Feeds References

150pxfeediconsvg Like tagging, feeds is one of the primary technologies driving Web 2.0 - bridging disparate data sources - breaking apart the Web and allowing it to reconstitute in categorically new forms. To understand the evolution of the Web over the next five years, you've got to have a solid foundation in understanding feeds. In the book, I give an overview of feeds and talk about them in almost every chapter. The icon at right is typically used to indicate the presence of a feed on a Web page.

I think that the most confusing part about feeds is the terms are all mis-combobulated. Know that RSS and ATOM are formats used to deliver feeds. And that "Syndication" is a synonym for "Feeds."
