Reading notes:
Commentary on Bruce Schneider's presentation on permanence of data, and the way that the younger generation feeds every aspect of their lives onto the web. His proposal is not to try to stop this, but provide the tools to ensure that data can be erased at some point on the future or that it'd have a time limit.
Permanence of data may be something that we actually like about this, a personal digital archive. This seems to be perceived differently by different generations. Also comments on how teenagers could be using online identities ina throwaway fashion, but on the other hand, many tools become part of the person identity over all.
